Memphis may be known for its music scene, but it’s also a place where filmmakers have gone to shoot some of the best- and least-known films in cinema. Some classic movies were shot in the city while others used stock footage, such as “Silence of the Lambs.” The Memphis area has a lot to offer – from nearby cotton fields and historic town squares to neon-lit city streets with jazz and blues clubs on every corner. With so much to catch the eye, it’s no wonder why many filmmakers choose Memphis, TN as the backdrop in their movies. As a professional or amateur filmmaker, you can take advantage of Memphis self storage to shoot your own masterpieces in this visually-appealing city.
This film came out in 1993 starring Tom Cruise as a lawyer who discovered that not everything about his company was as it seemed. It also stars Gene Hackman and was filmed in downtown Memphis and Mud Island.
